Local Wheel and Tire SEO Client Case Study: American Wheel and Tire

Challenge: American Wheel and Tire had worked with other SEO providers that didn’t delivered the results they expected. Most of their keywords were ranked on the bottom of page one, but they weren’t getting enough online traffic. They were looking for specific local traffic from the Greater Houston area through the major search engines.

The site was not very well optimized, the photo gallery was very poorly optimized, it wasn’t updated properly and it was lacking from fresh content. To top it off, the business wasn’t showing on the top of Google places (maps).

Solution: We did an extensive SEO Audit and keyword research in order to figure out what would be the best strategy. We copywritted the homepage with the targeted keywords and increased the keyword density for better optimization. We added fresh content that search engines loved. That also helped with keeping the website updated, along with constantly adding and/or changing content (SEO Optimized) on the homepage. We started optimizing the gallery for higher visibility. Then we optimized their Google maps for even more visibility. Lastly, we implemented a small, but very efficient, link building strategy for more link popularity.

Results: American Wheel and Tire dominates the major search engines for all the local Houston searches containing the words “wheels”, “rims”, and any of the two previously mentioned plus the word “tires”, plus all the wheel brands carried. Over 95% of the targeted keywords are in top 3 positions, almost all of them on position number 1. Even keywords that were not targeted are now at the top for regional searches, like: “wheels texas”, “wheels in texas”, “wheels and tires in texas”. They currently rank #2 for the terms “tires houston” and “tires in houston”, beating major national known retail brands, including Discount Tire and Tire Rack. After implementing the image optimization plan, the site started receiving more traffic through the search of images.

The bottom line is that leads and sales increased locally, regionally in the whole Texas state, and even a few national and international sales had been generated after the implementation of our services.
